Write an essay that responds to and evaluates a particular article from the textbook (you may choose from any of the argument articles from pg 418-end of book – remember that you should be using the topic you plan on discussing all semester). This is not a summary paper, but your essay should provide a concise summary of the article early on to familiarize your reader with the content. Throughout the essay, you will need to acknowledge important parts of the article through paraphrase, description, and direct quotation.
