– the Toulmin system, STAR, logical fallacies, and other essential concepts and analytical tools
This essay analyzes and critiques the integrity of an arugment, how effectively an author supports his/her argument, claims, assertions. This is not a summary paper. You are essentially juding whether the article provides a strong argument or not.
You are required to work with your source argument, and you should also use a secondary source as well. This second source can be the textbook (to explain ethos, pathos, logos, or another essential concept), or it can be another article that pertains to the same subject matter (from the textbook, or from elsewhere). You are required to have a works cited page (MLA format) for this assignment.
