Choose one of the following for your final project of the year:
1. Create a poster featuring the “Ten Little Indian” poster as the focal point. Show how each
person was killed relating to the poem. The poster should be on poster board with writing that is
legible. The poem should be the focal point with how each person dies in the background. Be
creative. It should not look like you started the night before it was due. You may not work with a
partner.
2. Create a diary entry from one of the characters after their first night on the island. Make sure
you describe how you think each person is feeling about the first death and what they think
about being called out on the murder they committed. It needs to be at least two pages, Times
New Roman, 12 point font, double spaced. You may not work with a partner.
3. Create a video trailer for a movie based on And Then There Were None. It needs to describe
what the book is about without openly giving away the end or whole plot. It has to be at least
two minutes long and not longer than three minutes. Use only original footage you created. You
may work in a group of three. Each partner must contribute equally in the project to receive full
credit. It will be shown to the class on the last period you are in class.
4. Create a new book cover for And Then There Were None. It has to be all original and must
include the title and author. It should be on poster board and should kind of tell what’s going on
without giving too much away. Be creative. It needs to look like it wasn’t started the night before.
5. Create a board game that can be played based on And Then There were None. It needs to
actually be played. You may work in groups of no more than three. It needs to include dice or
someone the players can move. It needs to have a starting point and a way for someone to win.
It can include elements of other boards games, like dice, pieces, or a board, but it has to be
unique. It should not just be pieces of games thrown together. Each group member needs to
work on it equally.
6. Agatha Christie has sold over two billion books since she started writing in the early
nineteenth century. Her books are still widely read today. Write a four paragraph essay on why
you think a story like And Then There Were None is still read today. Make sure you make
references to the book and how it kept you guessing throughout.
Before you start working on your project, you have to tell me which one you are doing.
Each project is due by the end of the last class I have with you. No late work will be accepted.
