1. Please forward hospital ethics committee approval when received (sec 6).
2. Clarify nature of “initial contact” referred to in sec 6.
3. Clarify reference to “register of participants” list.
4. What is relation of applicant to participants?
5. Re recruitment: suggest sending an email to all relevant staff with a link to the survey on it. Then those who want to, can take part. This avoids any coercion and compromising of anonymity. The applicant could do a presentation about the research to potential participants as well. This preferable to use of supervisors and keeping a register.
6. The letter on p.23 asks participants to “return completed questionnaires to a box”. Clarify. Is this in addition to use of survey monkey? The applicant should put his name on the introduction to the study (p.23) and make clear it is part of research for an MSc. Also no contact details are given (p.23).
