Graphic Synopses should be GRAY-SCALE ONLY, FORMATTED AS THREE 11X17 SHEETS. They
should 1) demonstrate that the student has carefully read and understood the assigned readings, 2) clearly
organize relationships between those readings and the lectures, 3) identify and properly reference key
terms, concepts, claims, positions, arguments and images in those sources, 4) offer insights and speculations
on the material related to the general themes and objectives of the course: the necessity of theory for
architecture and the ongoing emergence of modern architecture, and 5) include and properly reference
additional sources and images that enhance or supplement the essay or synopsis. There are no correct
approaches, only better and worse ways to articulate and formulate an intelligent, precise, creative and
knowledgeable response to the course material. A graphics program such as InDesign should be used for
final production, and programs such as MSWord, Illustrator, or Photoshop should be used for preparation
of text, graphics, and images.
The GRAPHIC SYNOPSES are synthetic and incisive efforts to identify the issues and sources in the course
that are of most interest to individual student, and to curate a cogent, accurate, coherent and necessarily
partial synopsis of the course content.

This paper should be a research paper that explains chnages in architecture through the time from free-hand(hand drawings) to technological softwares uses. It should point out the thesis of evolution of architecture and and how it affect the mega cities.
There should be captions from readings or extra sources, images that is related. That shouldnt be like an essay but should be like a research paper that break into parts. There should be hierarchy between images and captions.
