A brief summary of project
Key improvements experienced in technology have revolutionized the world in being responsive to various developments achieved, in particular on the elements that involve the enhancement of fuel efficiency. The current the project is about the affordable electric hybrid motorcycle (Casey, 2015). Having a relevant model established on the idea of using an electric motor that makes the vehicle rely on electricity as the source of its power and not the standard fuel(gasoline) used in conventional motorcycles. Another important thing about this product is the fact that it is affordable in acquisition and maintenance as one only need the charging stations to do the recharging of the motorcycle.
Project goals and objectives
In ensuring that the project is successful, the following are key project goals and their respective project objectives that are expected and achieved at the end of the project. They include:
The Project Goals The Project Objectives
Providing motorcycles that are affordable is the primary focus of the business and hence, will require the available use component in assembling the product. Research and use of affordable EV batteries that have been advanced in technological measures.
Have an active investigation and development unit to look at the needs of the market so that the business commits to attaining them. Focus on producing customizable products that meet the needs of clients and, therefore, the concept of “made on order” will be integrated in the business.
Build a strong legacy in producing fuel efficient and good quality products for the targeted market. Invest more in research and development for the purpose of coming up with new approaches of providing economical and affordable products.

Key customer(s) and stakeholders
Some of the identified key customers and stakeholders for the project include the following.
Key Customers Key Stakeholders
General public Market capitalist ventures
Security agencies Market communities

Key milestones for the project
a. Attain at least 10 percent of the market share in the next three years. This is expected to be realistic given that a significant segment of the market is already fascinated about the product.
b. Achieve at least $2 million in sales by the third year of operation. Making another measure, that is dependent on the current growth in the liking of the technological development in the motorcycle industry.
c. Focus on using affordable and more efficient EV batteries, resulting in a product that can run for an extended period before running out of the battery and improve on the affordability of the product (Trevitt, 2009).
A high-level timeline
Key Milestone Target Date

Refining the project as directed 1st Aug 2016

Overall cost and staffing and non-staffing needs
Table 2: Overall costing of the project
Estimated Labor $240,000
Estimated Research and Development $250,500
Estimated Rental $36,500
Estimated Materials, Equipment and Facilities $407,200
Miscellaneous Costs $3,250
Total Estimated Cost $937,450

Apart from the capital requirements identified above, there are staffing and non-staffing needs. For the project requires at least twelve employees that are necessary for efficient running of the business, and this call for a scouting for qualified personnel that is willing to be integrated into the business. Perceiving firmly that the assemblage unit is tailored to the most excellent resources that use the assembling of hybrid electric motorcycle units. Therefore, the need to have enough space for all of these production activities to take place will be addressed (Dutta et al., 2014).
Project’s challenge and recommendation
Despite having a strong formation of doing better in the current industry of motorcycles, it is evident that electric hybrid motorcycle will experience the problem associated with expense EV battery that is expected to be used in the bike development. Since 2013, different approaches have been initiated by various companies in coming up technological measures that will help in producing EV batteries that are efficient, more advanced, and affordable. Therefore, it is recommended that a market research is governed in determining the best vendor that can provide such product for the business at a reasonable price.
