The subject for my final research topic is “Would modifying the Second Amendment have any effect on the mass killings in America?” In 2013, President Obama tried to get gun reform legislation passed and was unsuccessful in his attempts. “Three of the 20 worst mass shootings in 2015 would not have been committed with legal weapons had the law been changed in 2013 (Chalabi, 2015).”

Write a brief paragraph (around 150 words) summarizing the source and explaining how it is pertinent and relevant to the topic of the project and how each source will support your thesis statement.
