Garity (1997) examined the association between resiliency and the ways caregivers coped with a stressful event in their role as a caregiver for a family member who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. 2. The purpose of this assignment is to replicate part of the study by Garity examining the association between resiliency and the ways students of this unit have coped with an academic stressor in the past.
