Individual Report requirements
You are required to write an individual report (1,500 words max.) based on your chosen
presentation topic area (should relate to a Guru Lecture theme). The report will consist of a review
of the literature on your presentation topic and an evaluation of the planning and execution of your
group work. Please see the details below for submission and this is worth 20% of your overall mark.
You are free to structure your report in whatever way suits you. However, below is a suggested
structure to help get you started:
Title
Covering the main topic, question, issue your presentation was focused on
Introduction
(250 words approximately)
The broad context to the topic
The specific aspect of this broad context you have focused on
A justification for your question/title
Literature
(750 words approximately)
A brief introduction to the literature
The main arguments from the literature (perhaps 3 or 4)
A summary of the main argument you followed
Evaluation
(500 words approximately)
How you went about producing the presentation
The challenges you faced
What could you have done better?
References
Coursework Preparation and Submission Details
Your report should be prepared for submission as follows:
 Student ID only to be included on each page in the footer or header section.
 Each page to be numbered and the word count stated at the end of your essay.
 Font Style: Arial, Font Size: 11, using 1.5 line spacing.
 Title to be confirmed at the start of your essay and clearly indicated in bold or italic font.
 References to follow Harvard style referencing.
