Answer:
I have enjoyed learning the history of research. The key point noted is the evolution of the key principles that guide biomedical research. These include autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice. Even though human has benefitted from the medical research, there has been various unethical human experiments that led to the realization of protecting the human hence the development of Nuremberg code (Das, & Sil, 2017). As such, the ethics committee plays a pertinent role in ensuring that the above principles are adhered to by the researchers. From these past events where human rights were violated, the ethics of biomedical research has changed how the research is conducted.
